Yo!

greetings from my holiday!!! i'm writing from edinburgh, from a very funky hostel called castle rock, which is perfectly situated in the centre of this interesting looking city. we only arrived in the late afternoon so i'm not able to tell you more about it. our trip started from manchester which turned out to be not as cool as i'd expected it to be, but it was a nice change after living in massive and overcrouded city that is called london. what's more, i spent that weekend with my best friend (usciski mudelku;*) and i really enjoyed it there. probably, i would a bit more time to discover that city properly. from the capital of northern england (or at least i think so;) where there's 99% of white english locals and tourists. they give an impresion of swollowing second halves of out spoken words while comunitaiting. they also tend to pronounce bus as bu/ys and not bas. (this is a probably understandable for polish speakers only. sorry, can't use phonetics here..)
can't already imagine a conversation with a scottish person...;P
from manchester we moved to penrith and keswick. day and a half was defenetely not enough to see the beuty of lake district, but this part of england is more than worth visiting. we spent two nites in a tent (quite chilli up there i must say, but in a hot company;) with a view on the lake sorrounded by mountains. i don't need to say more...
we went for am interesting walk in keswick. ther ewere streams, mountains, cows and sheeps;D we had english dinners (very nice one and less nice one as well..), beers and all these nice things you can do while on holiday;) yeeey, zyc nie umierac!!
right, my internet time is running out, so i'll be signing out shortly.
all the best and expect to see some of my memories in pictures here sometime soon..

waiting for my holidays

after brockley, we came back to binnie court and stayed in nora's room, as she was away. i was working, going out a bit (angela-a, rock'n'roll, and a nice dinner) and chilling out most of my evenings. all these with my missing puzzle of course. i'm saying missing as balint's off for one week trip in southern england. nora came back last friday, and last weekend three of us visited barbara in southields. it was a pleasent, little dinner party in her garden.
what's more? house hounting, tracing my past and trying to find a reason and a solution to certain things that bother me.
it's maslow's hierarchy kind of thing. although it's constantly moving up, recently (if not generally during my stay in london) it's has got into another stage..
anyway, this is probably the last message before my holiday, so i'm saying - narazie, szia, arrivederci, bye!
i'll maybe try to leave a post from somwhere beautiful where i'm on my big trip in england, scotland, poland or hungary..

this is a charming mozaic in lewisham's art house. made by kids.

and this is where i've stayed for one week. nora's kingdom!;)

birmigham and worcester

this is where i spent the last weekend. i visited kasia, my friend and ex-neighbour from poland. the weather was very english and i was constantly sleepy, but i had a very nice time up there. polish people, polish food, polish jokes;) i'd heard from various people that birmigham is one of england's ugliest cities where is nothing apart from bullring shopping centre.

well, being honest with you, so was my first impression of birmigham.

but after filling up my tummy and checking some shops ( yes, i even bought three pieces of clothes;), i discovered that birmigham is also a city of weird statues,..

canals,..

and pinkish flowers.

and then suddenly... i felt back 'home' ;P

watch that people if you like speed, the sound of sport vehicles and nice colours;]

a war with a (kinda) happy end

yesterday from the sunny morning till the warm evening things were just so crazy, totally out of control, ridiculous that in the end i was lauthing! (latin american lover;P)i'm sick of it all, so i left and still leave things as they are. and the solution to a problem has come by itself, well, not really by itself. it came not from my side and thanks God for that! i'd done my part, that is it, basta, cos i'm bored. anyway, i always land on my four paws;)
enjoy life people and bear in your minds that money is not everything!
i'm enjoying my evening right now, c ya!

keleidoscope

this how life changes sometimes. i have observed some minor, however negative changes in my working environment, but how extremely things changed from less than one day to another is unbelievable! and how dissapointing can be those whom you think you know quite well.. what i have experienced in the last 3 weeks is an absurd and i would love to say a joke. but it's not a joke i'm affraid. i have spoken to my boss today about all those unpleasent feelings that had accumulated in me recently and it was hard i must admit. there were even tears. i didn't get anything, maybe i made things worse. i don't regret, i'm feeling better and i don't care about those who (chcialabym powiedziec - splywaja po mnie ci co)can only see from one perspective, are not fair and exaggerate.
any lessons learned from this event? just that very popular one, translating from polish - what does not kill you, makes you stronger.

about my life in brockley - it's nice. it's a nice change to live in a flat and not with other students, but with my Hungarian Half. (and internet!;P)
and it's been 4 months! i'm having a great time, big kiss Hon! in da public;)

industrial (london). i still love it.

and docklands/southwark area as well. wish i had a flat there..

since last time;)

i've been working quite hard ;P but at least a lot, cos from monday to friday. weekends have been nice, and as i can remember it now we'd had a hungarian dinner not long time ago, prepared by nora and balint, teddy bears picknick, nora's and nikos's b'day bbq, meeting parents, brazilian and ealling jazz festival and now us two plus a cat are leaving temporarily in brockley.
and my lucky brazilian bracelet broke yesterday. it feels strange without it...
