still waiting for spring and for "drop food not bills" campaign to affect us. and i am also still messing in GAP. interestingly, the more i speak my mind up there, the more respect i get. in other words - the less i care, the better off i'm am;P
the title of this post refers to last night. and i have to dissapoint you a bit now, there won't be 'visuals' this time:) i'd invited my friend jm for 'a pint after work'. the time and the place had been planned in advance. unfortunately (or fortunately?) there were no free sits, neither there nor in a couple of other pubs and bars that we popped into. after some time of searching for the right place, we got stopped by a couple on the street and were offered theatre tickets for a show that was about to start in 10 minutes. they couldn't make it to the show as they realised they had planned something else for that night. the couple btw, had been given these tickets by another couple (and also in the street), who due to some reason, couldn't make it to the theatre either. and so, within the next 10 minutes we found ourselves occupying two sits in the 3rd row(!) of the Playhouse Theatre and watching ..."Dancing In The Streets" ;) well, we didn't like the show much, however it was quite amusing to be there. and yeah, we felt like in Motown in the 60's indeed, while listening to those black fellows performing songs of Funk Brothers, Martha and the Vandellas, Stevie Wonder and others. and afterwards we found a pub.
