this the name of our main Video Production project.
The idea is interesting and everything would be just so perfect if not some silly psychological games or God knows what (!), as well as lack of cooperation between some of us. but after such a long time of certain crap happening around, i simply don't care any more. all i care about is to complete our project in the best and the most enjoyable way possible.
Last monday we went to Daily Mirror office in Canary Wharf to shoot the first part of our documentary. The 10 minutes film will be about Andy Capp cartoon strip that has been published in one of the most successful UK's tabloids since 1957. Its creator, Reg Smythe, died in 1998, but Andy Capp comic has been taken over by Roger Mahoney and Rogger Kettle, and it's continuing with its success in the UK and in a few other countries like the US or Germany for instance. Andy is a stereotype of a British working class men from Northern England. this is where he and Reg came from.
Even though last Tuesday's shooting was still affected by some unnecessary stress, it was a great experince at the same time.
i took some photos while dealing with my main responsibility which was sound recording.
already in Canary Wharf, quick questions-check and awaiting for our interviewee, Daily Mirror's cartoon editor, Ken Layson
and here we are - 24th floor of Canary Wharf Tower building where Daily Mirror (Trinity Mirror plc) office is located
this is where we shot the main part of our interview
filming while sightseeing the office
shooting the second part of the interview on the 22nd floor of Canary Wharf Tower and the view on Greenwich Dome
and this is Andy
