the weather has been very English for more than a month now. i'm really longing to see some sunshine. today however, i didn't let the weather stop me from enjoying being outdoor and i went for a bike ride with a good friend of mine. we had a nice time despite getting soaked several times. probably this is why i didn't take many pictures..
we cycled from bletchley to Grand Union Canal ("Grand Union Canal Mainline Brentford to Birmingham: Broad canal but with restrictions, 137 miles, 166 locks, 2 tunnels, over 1 week to cruise"; it is the same canal that runs across Camden Town), along the canal to Willen Lake in Milton Keynes, stopping in Campbell Park and cycling along various redways on the way back to Bletchley.
Only by chance we discovered two family events happening in the area, Dragon Boat Festival and Milton Keynes 40th Birthday Gala. (MK - a new, American stylelised town;) We also visited Buddhist Temple that has regular services. it was the first time i saw them praying.
